Six Killed in Bus Attack by Baloch Militants Near Gwadar

Gunmen Open Fire on Passenger Bus, Killing Innocent Civilians

A tragic act of violence struck Balochistan as six people were killed when Baloch militants attacked a passenger bus traveling from Gwadar to Karachi on Tuesday.

The attack took place in the Kalmat area, where gunmen stopped the Karachi-bound bus and opened fire on passengers. Five people died on the spot, while another later succumbed to injuries at the hospital. Among the victims, one has been identified as a resident of Multan.

The motive behind the attack is still unclear, but authorities are treating it as an act of terrorism. Pakistani officials strongly condemned the brutal assault, calling it a cowardly attack on innocent civilians. The Interior Minister and other top officials expressed their condolences to the victims’ families, vowing that such acts of terror will not weaken Pakistan’s resolve to fight terrorism.

This is not the first such attack in Balochistan. Recently, several laborers from Punjab were also killed by gunmen while working on a tube well installation in Mangocher.

As investigations continue, security forces are increasing measures to prevent further violence by Baloch militant groups.
