As Eid ul Fitr approaches, Karachi is expected to experience hot and dry weather during the festive holidays, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).
The temperature is predicted to stay between 36Β°C and 38Β°C on Eid days, with hot and dry winds blowing from the northwest in the morning. After April 4, the mercury may rise further, reaching 39Β°C.
Heatwave Alert for Karachi
Chief Meteorologist Muhammad Afzal has warned that temperatures across Pakistan will increase in the coming months, with heatwave conditions expected in urban areas due to the urban heat island effect. Karachiβs daytime temperatures could be 3Β°C to 4Β°C above normal levels, making the heat more intense for residents.
With hotter-than-usual weather ahead, citizens are advised to stay hydrated and take precautions while celebrating Eid.
