Thailand Updates Visa Requirements for Pakistani Tourists

Thailand has updated its visit visa policy for Pakistani citizens, introducing new rules regarding visa fees and financial proof. These changes aim to make the application process more organized while ensuring that visitors are financially prepared for their stay.

Now, Pakistanis applying for a tourist visa to Thailand must submit a bank statement showing a balance of at least Rs 350,000. The statement should cover the last six months. This financial requirement helps Thai authorities confirm that travelers can support themselves during their visit without any issues.

In addition to the bank statement, the visa fee depends on whether or not the applicant has a confirmed return ticket. If a ticket is already booked, the visa fee is lower. However, if the application is submitted without a ticket, the fee is slightly higher. This system encourages applicants to plan their trip fully before applying.

Thailand has also moved to an online visa application system, making it easier and more efficient for people in Pakistan to apply. Instead of visiting an embassy or consulate, applicants can now upload their documents online and receive an e-visa confirmation via email. This document must be shown at the airport when departing from Pakistan and upon arrival in Thailand.

These new steps are designed to make the process smoother while ensuring proper planning from tourists visiting Thailand.
