Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has organized its own session outside the Punjab Assembly, claiming it as a protest against the current political situation. The session was attended by PTI-backed members who say they won their seats as per Form 45 results but were not given rightful representation.
This unusual move took place as PTI continues to challenge the legitimacy of the current Punjab Assembly setup. According to PTI leaders, many of their winning candidates were not allowed to take oath or were unfairly excluded. To raise their voice, they chose to hold a symbolic assembly session outside the official premises.

During the session, several elected members participated and expressed concerns over what they described as election manipulation. A resolution was also presented during the sitting, though details of its content have not yet been made public.
PTI has stated that this step is part of their broader campaign to restore democratic rights and transparency in the electoral process. They are demanding that the actual winners, based on Form 45 — a document used to record election results — be officially recognized.
This move has added to the political tension in Punjab, and it remains to be seen how the provincial and federal governments respond to PTI’s symbolic session and ongoing protests.
