Maryam Nawaz Launches Phase-II of Clinic-on-Wheels Project.

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has officially launched Phase-II of the “Clinic-on-Wheels” project, a major step toward improving healthcare for people in remote and underserved areas of the province.

During the launch event, Maryam Nawaz shared that 200 new mobile clinics will be added in this phase. These specially designed vans are equipped with medical tools, medicines, and doctors who will travel to poor and rural areas to provide free healthcare services. Each mobile clinic includes a lady doctor, medical staff, free medicines, lab testing, and vaccination services.

Maryam said the goal is to make sure that even the most far-off villages have access to basic medical care. She also stressed that women’s health will be a key focus in this project. Special attention will be given to maternal and child health, as many women in remote areas cannot visit hospitals easily.

The Chief Minister added that the mobile clinics had already shown great results in Phase-I, and more than 2 million patients had been treated so far. People have welcomed the project and appreciated the free and quick treatment provided at their doorsteps.

This project is part of Maryam Nawaz’s larger plan to reform healthcare in Punjab and ensure that no one is left behind.
