Israel and Iran Trade Missiles as War Hits Day 6.

The war between Israel and Iran has entered its sixth day, with both countries launching new missile strikes. On Wednesday, Iran fired missiles at Israel, while Israel attacked Iranian military sites and nuclear facilities. The Israeli military claims this is part of “Operation Rising Lion,” aimed at stopping Iran’s nuclear program. Iran says its nuclear work is peaceful.

The fighting has killed over 224 Iranians and 24 Israelis so far, mostly civilians. Many people in both countries have fled or been evacuated. Iran said it used hypersonic missiles in its latest attack, while Israel warned people in Tehran to leave certain areas before strikes.

Former U.S. President Donald Trump posted on social media that the U.S. has “total control of the skies over Iran,” raising questions about U.S. involvement. He demanded Iran’s “unconditional surrender” and warned of serious consequences if U.S. forces are attacked. Trump also hinted at knowing the location of Iran’s Supreme Leader but said he would not act “for now.”

The U.S. has moved more fighter jets to the region and closed its embassy in Jerusalem until Friday. While Trump signals support for Israel, lawmakers in the U.S. are divided over any possible military action. Meanwhile, Iran’s top advisers have been killed, and Israel has launched cyberattacks to damage Iran’s digital systems. The situation remains dangerous, and global tensions are rising.
