ISLAMABAD – Saudi Arabia has gifted 100 tons of dates to Pakistan as a symbol of goodwill and strong ties between the two nations.
The handover ceremony took place at the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Islamabad, where Saudi Ambassador Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki and Abdullah Al-Baqami, Director of King Salman Humanitarian Aid & Relief Centre (KSrelief), presented the gift to Brigadier Alamgeer Ayub, Director General Military Wing.
This annual tradition, led by King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, reflects Saudi Arabia’s commitment to supporting Pakistan and strengthening their bond of friendship and brotherhood.
Brigadier Alamgeer Ayub thanked Saudi leadership for their continued generosity. “This noble gesture reinforces the deep relationship between our countries,” he said.
The annual donation of dates is part of Saudi Arabia’s efforts to enhance humanitarian outreach and strengthen bilateral ties with Pakistan.
