SIALKOT – Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Asif said the country has solid evidence that India is behind terrorist attacks in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
Speaking to the media in Sialkot on Tuesday, he urged the international community to recognize India’s role in sponsoring terrorism across the region.
“There is undeniable proof of Indian involvement in terrorism in Balochistan and KP,” he said. “India is not just targeting Pakistan — their activities also affect countries like the United States and Canada,” he added, referring to international cases with links to Indian agents.
The minister called Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi an “international terrorist”, accusing him of spreading violence beyond India’s borders.
Addressing allegations from India regarding the Pahalgam attack, Khawaja Asif strongly denied any Pakistani role.
“If India has any proof against us, they should show it,” he challenged.
He also highlighted the ongoing Kashmir issue, noting that even former U.S. President Donald Trump had called for its resolution.
“War has only made things worse. It’s time for real dialogue on Kashmir, terrorism, and the Indus Waters Treaty,” he said.
Touching on India’s internal politics, Asif claimed that Modi’s government is facing growing resistance.
“Modi’s time is running out. It’s now up to the Indian people,” he remarked.
Concluding his statement, the Defence Minister warned:
“India cannot even dream of attacking Pakistan again. The entire nation is united and ready.”
