Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is currently in Jeddah for a four-day official visit to discuss ways to improve cooperation in different areas, including the economy.
During a meeting in Jeddah, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif talked about ways to deepen the partnership. The prime minister is accompanied by key officials, including Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Army Chief General Asim Munir, and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.
The meeting highlighted the long-standing friendship between the two countries, focusing on how they can further enhance cooperation in areas like trade, investment, energy, and defense. Both leaders expressed their satisfaction with the growing economic ties and agreed that Saudi investments would help boost Pakistan’s economy.
They also discussed the changing global and regional situation and committed to working together for peace, stability, and prosperity in the region.
Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman also praised the Pakistani community in Saudi Arabia and agreed to take more steps to support their welfare.
