Jemima Goldsmith Injured During Mountain Hike in Cape Town

Jemima Goldsmith, the former wife of PTI founder Imran Khan, was injured while hiking on Lion’s Head mountain in Cape Town, South Africa, during her New Year’s vacation.

The British socialite and filmmaker fell during the hike and was rushed to a hospital for treatment. Despite the injury, Jemima shared the incident on Instagram with humor, writing:
“Festive break (pun intended) in Cape Town. Embracing the highs and the lows of 2025 (incredible views from the summit of Lion’s Head with friends & fam and then a tumble & an interminable hobble down in the dark). Happy New Year folks.”

She shared scenic photos from her hike, followed by a video of herself on a stretcher in the hospital, smiling despite her injured leg. She also posted a picture of herself standing with crutches.

Fans and followers sent her well wishes for a quick recovery.

Lion’s Head mountain, located between Table Mountain and Signal Hill in South Africa, is known for its stunning views and attracts hikers from around the world.

Jemima, a respected filmmaker and journalist, was married to Imran Khan from 1995 to 2004. They have two sons together. Her charm and accomplishments continue to make her a beloved public figure in Pakistan and beyond.
