RAWALPINDI – Pakistan’s military officially named the recent conflict with India from April 22 to May 10 as “Marka-e-Haq”, meaning “Battle for Truth”. In response to deadly Indian attacks on May 6–7 that killed civilians, the Pakistan Army launched Operation Bunyanum Marsoos on May 10, 2025.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), this operation was a direct response to unprovoked Indian aggression, where civilians, including women, children, and the elderly, were targeted.
ISPR declared, “Alhamdulillah! Our Armed Forces have delivered,” thanking Allah for the success and support of the nation.
The operation showcased joint coordination between Pakistan’s Army, Air Force, Navy, cyber, and space divisions. Using advanced technology and real-time intelligence, Pakistan carried out precision strikes on 26 Indian military sites — including airbases, missile depots, and command centers — in both Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu & Kashmir (IIOJK) and parts of mainland India.
Key Indian targets hit:
Airbases: Suratgarh, Sirsa, Srinagar, Jammu, Pathankot
BrahMos missile sites: Beas, Nagrota
S-400 missile systems: Adampur, Bhuj
Other military logistics and intelligence facilities
Pakistan’s military confirmed that the strikes were carefully aimed, avoiding civilian areas and focusing only on military and terror-linked targets. Cyber warfare units also temporarily disabled parts of India’s military network.
In response to Indian drone violations, Pakistan demonstrated its drone capabilities, flying armed drones into Indian airspace, including New Delhi.
Despite facing terrorist attacks in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan from Indian-backed proxies during this time, Pakistan’s security forces conducted successful counterterror operations on the western front as well.
ISPR praised the unity of the Pakistani nation, including youth, scientists, media, diplomats, and political leaders. Special mention was made of the Prime Minister’s leadership and support from all political parties.
The military concluded by saying:
“Marka-e-Haq is a symbol of Pakistan’s resolve to defend its sovereignty. Any future threat will be met with a full and strong response.”
