Nushki: Four policemen lost their lives in a gun attack in the Gharibabad area of Nushki district, Balochistan, on Saturday. Unidentified attackers opened fire on a police patrolling van and fled the scene before security forces arrived.
The bodies of the slain officers were shifted to a local hospital. Law enforcement agencies have launched an investigation and a search operation to track down the perpetrators.
Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti strongly condemned the attack, expressing deep sorrow over the loss of lives. He extended condolences to the victims’ families and assured that those responsible would face strict action.
“This cowardly act will not derail peace and development in Balochistan. The terrorists behind this attack will find no safe haven,” CM Bugti said, emphasizing that the provincial government will not tolerate such violence.
