14 Terrorists Attack Bannu Cantt, Causing Explosions and Damage

BANNU: A case has been registered at the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) police station following the terrorist attack on Bannu Cantt, according to ARY News.

The FIR was filed under terrorism charges, with SHO Saddar Bannu, Waseem Sajjad, named as the complainant.

Details of the attack revealed that 14 terrorists, wearing burqas and carrying heavy weapons, targeted Bannu Cantt, triggering multiple explosions. The blasts caused damage to nearby homes and resulted in several casualties.

Police, rescue teams, and local residents quickly responded, taking the injured and deceased to the hospital for treatment.

The terrorists used two tractors loaded with about 7,000 kilograms of explosives and arrived at the scene in rickshaws.

Earlier, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) confirmed that Pakistan’s security forces successfully foiled a larger terrorist attack on Bannu Cantt in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
