Multan – Police have intensified their crackdown on criminals, registering multiple cases against individuals involved in robbery, theft, fraud, illegal weapons, and drug dealing.
According to details, five robbery and theft cases have been filed. In the Pak Gate area, robbers snatched Rs. 48,000 and a mobile phone from Zeeshan Haider. Unknown suspects also robbed cash and a mobile phone from Muhammad Farhan. In the Jalilabad area, a woman’s gold and cash were stolen from her purse, while Muhammad Ishaq’s motorcycle was also reported stolen. Additionally, Imran Khan’s bricks and trees worth Rs. 250,000 were stolen in the Basti Malook area.
Police have also registered fraud cases against three individuals for issuing bogus checks and filed cases against two suspects for illegal possession of weapons. Additionally, two people were charged with kidnapping.
In an operation against drug dealers, police registered five cases and seized various quantities of drugs:
- 120g of hashish from Nadeem alias Machi (Shujaabad City Police)
- 1,100g of hashish from Azeem (Jalalpur Saddar Police)
- 540g of hashish from Talib Hussain (Cantonment Police)
- 150g of hashish from Khawar and 180g from Bilal (Chehlek Police)
Authorities have launched investigations and further legal action is underway.
