Pakistani pilgrims are expected to spend around Rs9.94 billion on sacrificial animals during Hajj 2025, according to the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA). Each pilgrim under the government scheme has contributed Rs55,500 for the sacrifice this year.
So far, over 35,000 government scheme pilgrims have deposited their sacrificial amount, totaling Rs1.94 billion. This highlights the organized efforts being made to facilitate the religious obligation.
Hajj 2025 Pilgrim Details
A total of 179,210 Pakistani pilgrims will perform Hajj this year, with 89,605 traveling under the government scheme and the same number through private arrangements.
On January 13, Pakistan’s Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, Chaudhry Salik Hussain, signed the annual Hajj agreement with Saudi Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah. The agreement ensures improved facilities for Pakistani pilgrims, including special accommodations in Mina at discounted rates.
Dr. Tawfiq assured full support to provide better services to Pakistani pilgrims. Minister Salik Hussain will also attend a four-day international Hajj conference and expo in Jeddah, where further agreements will be made to enhance facilities for the pilgrims.
